IFT (Institute of Financial Training)
Studying for Level I while working full-time, IFT was exactly what I needed. Arif Irfanullah explains concepts clearly without assuming prior finance knowledge — the Active Learning approach keeps the content focused on exam-relevant material. Their free trial (no credit card required) let me test the videos before committing. Mocks were more challenging than the actual exam, which helped build confidence going in. The main gap is no automated study planner — you'll need to manage your own schedule. Strong pick for video-first learners.

First timer for Level I and Salt Solutions was a solid choice. Mike Carmody's bite-sized 10-15 min videos made it easy to stay consistent around a full-time job. The CheckPoints scheduler broke the massive curriculum into weekly goals so I never felt lost. Focus Analysis flagged my weak spots in Fixed Income and QM. Downsides: no live classes or tutoring, so forum Q&A was my only help when stuck. Response time was 1-2 days which is fine but slower than having a tutor. Free 14-day trial is a no-brainer.

I'm a self-directed learner who mainly needed a solid question bank for Level I, and AnalystPrep delivered. The 3,000+ practice questions have detailed explanations that explain the 'why,' not just the answer. Professor Forjan's video lectures are clear and well-paced. The analytics dashboard helps identify weak areas efficiently. Main downside: the strict no-refund policy—make sure you're committed before purchasing. Solid value at this price point.

Just passed Level I and wanted to share my experience. Mark's video lectures are genuinely excellent — clear explanations for difficult topics like derivatives and FRA. The LOS-by-LOS format made it easy to stay on track. Formula sheets saved me during the final week. The One-Fee-To-Pass guarantee took a lot of anxiety out of the process. Only downside: watching every video takes time, so budget accordingly. Fewer mocks than some alternatives, but quality is solid.

Studying for Level I while working full-time, I needed materials with strong mobile support. The UWorld app synced seamlessly and the study planner adapted when my schedule got chaotic. Video lectures are clear and thorough. The QBank is a bit easier than the real exam and mock exams are fewer than competitors. Overall a polished, flexible product.
